The Cherokee Nation Film Office invites you to “Coffee and Conversation,” your chance to grab a coffee and learn about current film bills and the state of Oklahoma’s budding film industry with special guests Bryan Warner, Deputy Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation and Oklahoma House Representative Jason Dunnington, author of House Bill 3921. This Q&A style event is your chance to learn, ask questions and express where you would like to see the future of film go in Tulsa and northeastern Oklahoma.

Rep. Dunnington will take questions about what he has learned that has inspired him to become a champion for the film industry in Oklahoma, including current legislation he has authored to help bolster the industry here.
We’ll kick things off with Cherokee Nation Deputy Chief Bryan Warner, who will welcome the crowd and speak briefly about the exciting opportunities being presented by the film and television industries in Oklahoma.
We’ll also hear from the CNFO director, Jennifer Loren, who will touch on the mission of the newly launched CNFO and how the office is covering a lot of ground. Abby Kurin, director of the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture, will talk about the growing film industry in Tulsa.
As Oklahoma continues to be recognized as a burgeoning market for film and television production, this event seeks to inform, inspire and educate northeastern Oklahoma community members and stakeholders about the future of the industry here.
