CREW + CASTING CALL FOR PBS KIDS VIDEO PROJECT

A PBS project is looking to hire a Native Director of Photography for a PBS Kids educational campaign. The DP must have children between the ages of 3-9 years old who will be actors in the videos.

SYNOPSIS:

The DP would film his or her own children playing at their house, a COVID-safe shoot with no crew. The project team is looking for diversity in both ethnicity and location. All colors of the rainbow should be represented. The campaign is national in scope, featuring families who live in urban environments as well as smaller towns. Shooters should be comfortable with an Alexa camera, which will be provided by the production.

(Can be anywhere in the USA – urban, small town or any place in between.)

Monday, October, 5, 2020

*Proof of tribal citizenship required

*Non-union initially


COMPENSATION:

DP/Photographer will be paid $4,000 to shoot by themselves (remote client) with their childen (talent) at home.
The shoot will be 5 hours in duration.

Talent payments:
Rates based on Team Talent Payroll @ non-union (includes tax/handling)
OCP: 1 x session fee @ $870 + 3 x session for usage @ $2,610 = $3,480 per OCP
Extra: 1 x session fee @ $475 + 1 x session for usage @ $475 = $950 per extra
