A newborn baby of Indigenous, South Asian or Latinx ethnicity, is needed for a principal role Wednesday, October 6, to appear in the feature film LAND OF GOLD. Filming will be in the Edmond, Oklahoma area.

Pay is $686 for the day.

Newborns are only permitted on set for no more than 3 hours.

The baby needs to be darker complected, and have dark brown to black hair. Babies should be born no earlier than September 20.

The film is about Kiren, a first-generation Punjabi trucker and anxious father-to-be, who stumbles across Elena, a 10-year-old undocumented Mexican-American, during a cross-country trip. As Kiren helps Elena find her way home, the unlikely pair connect over a shared history and evolving expectations of what family truly is.

The script is the winner of the 2021 Tribeca/AT&T Untold Stories.

The film is written and directed by Nardeep Khurmi. It is produced by Pallavi Sastry , Keertana Sastry and Simon TaufiQue.

Covid testing of the parents is required, at the cost of production, in advance of filming. Compensation for Covid testing is $20.
